Brother bill’s Helping hand
Our 2026 Project with Brother Bill’s Helping Hand: supporting the growing children’s program
Brother Bill’s has been a cornerstone of hope for the Dallas community. They seek to serve families through food, healthcare and educational programming. We LOVE them! This year, Kershaw’s Challenge will focus on supporting the growing children’s program – specifically focused on equipping kids with school supplies. Additionally, we are excited about the prospect of supporting them in the joy of Christmas – making the holiday season full and memorable for the families they serve.
For oak cliff
Our 2026 Project with For Oak Cliff: presenting sponsor at the Annual Back to School Festival in the southern sector of Dallas
Our friends at For Oak Cliff loves the South Dallas community so incredibly well! Each year, they provide families and kids with necessary items for a new school year including school supplies, health checks and citizen services. This annual event is FUN and engaging for the entire community and KC is proud to be the sponsor this year!
Interfaith family Services
Our 2025 Project with Interfaith Family Services: support the food pantry and residental needs
We love our friends at Interfaith and it is a joy to welcome them back as a beneficiary! IFS empowers families in crisis to break the cycle of poverty. When a new family moves into Interfaith housing, they are welcomed with a furnished apartment – a safe place to call home. Additionally, their apartment is stocked with groceries to get them back on their feet. This allows children to not miss a meal in the transition to a new home. The Food Pantry is available twice a month for families in the program to shop. These initiatives are the perfect fit for us!
For the nations
Our 2026 Project with For the Nations: support After School programming
For the Nations is an open door and vital resource to refugee families living in our hometown. They equip families with educational resources and services as they continue in the long process of adapting to American culture. Above all, FTN shares the love of Jesus! During the school year, For the Nations runs an after-school program where kids can come for after school care, tutoring and a full schedule of elective classes. On Wednesday nights, the program also includes bible study and dinner for kids grades 6th – 12th. Kershaw’s Challenge is excited to help bolster this program!
